President Biden revokes Trump's executive for the 'Garden of American Heroes.'

President Joe Biden on Friday revoked an executive order signed by Donald Trump last year for the “National Garden of American Heroes”.

The order establishing the garden was signed by Trump in response to nationwide protests against racial injustice that targeted controversial monuments. The order called for erecting statues of hundreds of prominent Americans.

Biden also revoked an order signed by Trump that prioritized punishment for those caught vandalizing statues or monuments, according to The Hill.

Biden’s order on Friday also revokes an order signed by Trump that directed federal agencies to review Section 230, a law that provides protections to social media companies after Twitter began flagging his tweets about the election and inflammatory statements about the protests.

All the orders were signed last year as protests erupted around the country in response to the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis ex-cop Derek Chauvin who kneeled on his neck for nearly 9 minutes.
