Pro-Trump rioter who took a private jet to DC to participate in Capitol riot, booted from PayPal for raising money for legal defense.

North Texas realtor, Jenna Ryan flew to Washington D.C. on a private jet on January 6 to take part in the Capitol riots. Two weeks later she’s booted from PayPal after using the platform to beg money to cover her legal fees and business losses.

On Thursday, Ryan shared a PayPal link with her Twitter followers where they could donate. In a tweet, she says, “I am accepting donations to pay legal fees and losses due to my arrest and charges by the FBI for protesting at the US Capitol. Thank you for your support. Any amount helps.”

Later on Thursday PayPal removed her account. She’d already raised $1000 at the time.

“PayPal has a policy to allow fundraising for legal defense purposes,” PayPal spokesperson Kim Eichorn told CBS News. “PayPal thoroughly reviews accounts, and if we learn that funds are used for anything other than legal defense, the account will be subject to immediate closure. We can confirm that the account in question has been closed.”

Ryan reacted to the news on Twitter writing: “Shucky darn I can’t do business with PayPal anymore. What am I gonna do with myself? I think I will survive. Seems like some people want to cancel me because I’m trying to get donations from PayPal. Big Woop,” she tweeted.

Ryan has been charged with knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

“I have to go to trial in Washington DC for this misdemeanor. I believe I was wrongfully arrested and charged and we have to fight for my freedom and decl [sic] my name,” she said while begging for money. “There is a concerted effort to destroy patriotic, Christian, patriots and Trump supporters. It is happening, and we need to come together. At this point I need support so that I can clear my name.”

While asking Trump for a pardon last week Ryan said she “doesn’t feel a sense of shame or guilty from my heart” for storming the Capitol.

“I feel like I was basically following my president. I was following what we were called to do. He asked us to fly there. He asked us to be there. So I was doing what he asked us to do,” she added.
