QAnon supporters are making plans for Donald Trump's inauguration on March 4.

Some QAnon supporters believe that Donald Trump still has a path to the White House and are making plans for his March 4 inauguration.

According to Vice, this new conspiracy theory embraced by followers of QAnon borrows from another fringe right wing group the ‘Sovereign Citizen Movement’, a group of people who believe they are not governed by the same laws as everyone else.

Sovereign Citizens believe that a 1871 law threw out the American government of the founding fathers and turned the U.S. into a corporation.

The group also believes that President Franklin D. Roosevelt sold U.S. citizens out in 1933 when he ended the gold standard and replaced it by offering citizens as collateral to a group of shadowy foreign investors, according to Vice.

Since they believe that any Amendment passed after 1871 is invalid, then the changing of the inauguration date by the 20th Amendment in 1933, from March 4 to January 20, to shorten the lame duck period of the outgoing president, does not apply.

Followers of QAnon have merged their beliefs with those of the ‘Sovereign Citizens’ to come up with their newest conspiracy that Trump will inaugurated on March 4 as the 19th president of the original republic and not the corporation they believe was created in 1871.

QAnon supporters–who just days ago called the movement a sham–are starting to get on board with this new theory as they continue do grapple with the reality of Joe Biden’s presidency since he was sworn in on January 20.

QAnon influencers have been sharing documents in fringe groups on Gab and Telegram, describing the 1871 act and falsely claiming it proves that Trump will be sworn in on March 4.
