Utah Congressman-elect Burgess Owens is 100% behind Republicans challenging the electoral vote certification in Congress because he believes, without a doubt that Trump won the November election.
Owens told the Salt Lake Tribune that “there’s no question in my mind that I think he won,” despite Biden receiving 306 Electoral College votes and winning the popular vote by more than 6 million.

The former NFL player turn congressman-elect plans to challenge the certification of Electoral College votes in Congress on January 6 vowing to “leave everything on the field.”
He believes it’s the “right thing to do” since “seventy-plus percent of conservatives say that this [election] is not fair.”
Owens repeated Trump’s false claims that 42,000 votes were counted twice in Nevada, a claim that Nevada officials say is not true. Also his only proof that voter fraud exist in Pennsylvania is, he lived there for 24 years and “know how the Democratic Party has done things [there], and it has not been fair.”

After failing in the courts, Owens believes the best course of action is to take the case to the American people so they can have the conservation instead of “people with black robes.” That is why he’s hoping to run it through Congress because people “are going to have a chance” to “hear things some people have never heard before” about the election. He did not say what those ” things” were.
“My goal basically is just to make sure that I’m doing everything I can to take this to every legal end we have. And once the official count is done, then we’ll respect whoever the president is,” he told the newspaper.
