Right wing extremist groups are planning to attack the Capitol on March 4.

There is increasing online chatter in right wing extremists circles about possibly attacking the Capitol on March 4, according to information provided by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security to lawmakers and obtained by CNN.

Though sources say it is mostly online talk at this point, security officials in Washington aren’t taking any chances.

Acting House Sergeant at Arms Timothy Blodgett told members in a memo on Monday that they are enhancing security out of precaution, “at this time the USCP has no indication that groups will travel to Washington DC to protest or commit acts of violence.”
