Ron Johnson explains how Trump lost Wisconsin in secretly recorded video: "51,000 Republican voters didn't vote for him."

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), one of the loudest voices in Congress demanding an investigation of the 2020 presidential election citing discredited election fraud conspiracy theories, admitted that Donald Trump lost Wisconsin because he underperformed with Republicans in the state.

On Tuesday, democratic activist Lauren Windsor shared a video of herself posing as a Trump supporter refusing to accept that Trump lost Wisconsin while speaking to Sen. Johnson at an event outside Milwaukee on Sunday.

Johnson explained in great detail how Trump lost Wisconsin to Joe Biden in the presidential election. Johnson even admitted that Biden won the state fair and square and there was nothing “skewed” about the results.

“Prior to this election I was the number one vote-getter statewide with just under 1.5 million votes,” Johnson said. “This election Trump got a million 610 [thousand]. No Republican ever cracked 1.5 million. Numerous Democrats have gone over 1.6 and 1.5 [million].”

“Collectively, the state assembly candidates, just Republican state assembly candidates, got a million 661 [thousand] votes,” Johnson explained. “The eight congressional candidates also got a million 661 [thousand], so we obviously counted enough Republican votes. The only reason Trump lost Wisconsin is that 51,000 Republican voters didn’t vote for him. They voted for other Republican candidates.”

Asked if Biden won Wisconsin fair and square, Johnson said. “Well, look at the totals. It’s certainly plausible, there’s nothing obviously skewed about the results. There isn’t!”

Johnson’s leaked comments come as Republicans in Wisconsin are moving ahead with a forensic audit of the ballots cast in the November presidential in the state. An audit that Johnson supports, but believes it should focus on paper ballots.

“I really think there’s too much concentration on [voting] machines,” Johnson said. “We have paper ballots. We have machine logs. We’ve got the machine totals. We should be foucsing on that.”

“We should be focusing in the Wisconsin Election Commission, the balloting in the park, the curing of the ballots, what Zuckerberg did, central counting in Milwaukee,” he added.

Biden won Wisconsin by more than 20,000 votes. As Johnson clearly explained Trump “didn’t get 51,000 votes that other Republicans got, and that’s why he lost.”
