Donald Trump’s personal attorney and lead lawyer in all his election related lawsuits getting thrown out of court across the country, Rudy Giuliani went on Fox News on Sunday to defend Donald Trump after it appeared he conceded to Joe Biden in a tweet.
“He won because the Election was rigged,” Trump’s Sunday morning tweet read in part.
Asked if that tweet was Trump finally conceding to Joe Biden in his own weird way, Rudy Giuliani laughed and used a familiar excuse we’ve heard numerous time from this administration when Trump screws up, he was being sarcastic, you know just like that time when he told Americans to wash out their lungs with bleach to cure COVID.

“No, no, no, far from it,” Giuliani said. “What he’s saying is more, I guess you’d call it sarcastic or a comment on the terrible times in which we live, in which the media has said he won.”
“But by going on to point out that it was illegal, obviously, he’s contesting it vigorously in the courts,” Giuliani continued. “The media tried to call the election. And they don’t have a legal right to call the election. It gets decided by our electors, not by NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN and even Fox. You don’t get the right to call it, I don’t get the right to call it.”

Trump appeared to concede to Joe Biden with a tweet that began with the words “he won…” But, he quickly backpedaled after #Trumpconceded became a top trend on Twitter.
“He won only in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA,” Trump wrote. “I concede NOTHING!. We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION.”
As is the case with pretty much every Trump tweet post-election, Twitter flagged the tweet.
