Sarah Palin says she will run for Senate if God wants her to.

Former Republican vice presidential candidate and governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin indicated that she might return to politics by running for a seat in the US Senate, but only if God wants her to.

“America was dedicated to God,” Palin said at a conference on July 22 that was co-sponsored by the Harvest International Ministry religious movement, Right Wing Watch reported.

“Our charters of liberty are written about and to God.” She took a swipe at what she sees as a “rapid shift to the left” happening now in the country. She warned that it would lead to our destruction if pastors don’t stand up.

“How dare we strip from our Creator what our founders had dedicated to him?” she asked. “How dare you try to take that back and change it for mankind, for some kind of secular use, secular enjoyment?”

Asked by the leader of the New Apostolic Reformation, Ché Ahn if she would consider running for Senate, Palin said, “If God wants me to do it, I will.” But, she added, Christians would have to do a better job supporting her than they did during her run for the White House with John McCain in 2008.

Ahn was one of the speakers at the ‘Stop the Steal’ rally in Washington D.C. on the eve of the Capitol insurrection. According to Right Wing Watch, he told the crowd: “I believe that this week we’re going to throw Jezebel out and Jehu’s gonna rise up, and we’re gonna rule and reign through President Trump and under the lordship of Jesus Christ.”
