Scaramucci says Trump was being ‘charming’ when he told Stormy Daniels she reminded him of his daughter.

Scaramucci calls GOP lawmakers who show up at courthouse 'spineless sycophants'

Former Trump White House official Anthony Scaramucci defended the ex-president telling adult film star Stormy Daniels that she reminded him of his daughter.

Daniels testified Tuesday at Trump’s hush money trial in New York, about her alleged sexual encounter with Trump which led to a $130,000 hush money payment before the 2016 presidential election.

At one point, Trump compared Daniels to his daughter Ivanka. “You remind me of my daughter,” Trump said, according to Daniels.

Scaramucci told CNN that by comparing a Daniels to his daughter, Trump was trying to be “charming.”

“In a one-on-one setting, he tries to be charming and he tries to melt the ice in a situation. So I could totally see him saying something like that,” Scaramucci said. “I think even people that he goes after, because he’s a little insecure when he meets them face to face, he turns up the charm.”

Trump is facing 34 counts of allegedly falsifying business records to pay the hush money to Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.
