Six people were killed in a mass shooting at a private school in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday, according to reports.
Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department responded to a call about shots fired at The Covenant School around 10:13 a.m. Monday morning.
Police said the shooter, a former student at the school, entered through a side door and opened fire with two assault rifles and a handgun.
Three 9-year-old children and three adults were killed. The shooter, identified as Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old Nashville resident was killed by police.
