Stephen Miller calls President Biden's speech to Congress "unoriginal," without "warmth," "lifeless and dry"

Donald Trump’s speech writer Stephen Miller derided President Joe Biden’s speech before Congress for lacking “warmth” and being “lifeless and dry.”

“So far, this speech is written in the “laundry list” style — the least inspired format for a congressional address,” Miller wrote.

“It is striking just how tedious & unoriginal the rhetoric was in Biden’s speech. Also, no outreach, no bipartisanship, no surprises, no warmth — a lifeless and dry address.but,” he added.

Miller’s comments came as Biden marked his administration’s accomplishments during its first 100 days, touting his administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic and call on Congress to pass his multi-trillion dollar infrastructure plan.

President Biden also called on Congress to pass sweeping legislation on guns, climate change and immigration.

A CBS poll conducted among the people who watched Biden’s speech Wednesday found more than eight in 10 viewers said they approved of the Biden’s message, while 15 percent said they disapproved of the speech. Meanwhile, 78 percent indicated the speech made them feel “optimistic about America.”
