Supporters of Donald Trump will soon be carrying 'Trump cards': Report

Supporters of Donald Trump will soon be carrying ‘Trump cards’ if the former president has his way.

According to Insider, Trump’s team sent an email on Wednesday asking his supporters to sign up for the cards–a red and gold card bearing Trump’s signature.

“The card you select will be carried by Patriots all around the Country. They will be a sign of your dedicated support to our movement to SAVE AMERICA, and I’m putting my full trust in you,” Trump wrote in an email, Insider reports.

In a follow up email the Trump team announce they will be launching the cards soon but only for the “STRONGEST” supporters of Donald Trump. They did not explain what qualifies an individual to get a ‘Trump card’ but, clicking on the link to vote for one’s favorite design, out of four, takes the user to a fundraising page.

“Originally we were planning on releasing just one design, but when President Trump saw the cards on his desk, he said, ‘These are BEAUTIFUL. We should let the American People decide – they ALWAYS know best!,'” the email said.

Trump has been claiming for months that the election was stolen, whipping his base into a frenzy with pledges to overturn the election and promises to support Republican candidates in the midterms, Politico reports. But the money he raised so far since leaving office was not used on either.

Trump’s ‘Save America PAC’ formed last year to challenge the election results has raised over $75 million. Most of that money was used to fund Trump’s flights and other personal expenses.

Sources told the Washington Post that none of the money had been channeled into what Republicans believe to be concrete attempts to challenge last year’s election result such as the ballot audit in Arizona’s Maricopa County, which Trump has praised and called for similar audits in other swings states that he lost.
