According to the Daily Beast, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s 96-hour ‘Thanks-A-Thon’ was derailed by Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.
After interviewing former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis, Lindell and his co-host Brannon Howse left their tens of viewers to watch lengthy clips of his failed cyber symposium in August while they went to eat Thanksgiving dinner.
“All right, I hope you are enjoying our Thanks-A-Thon, 96 hours. That was quite the interview with Jenna Ellis,” Howse said. “Maybe some of you have already had your Thanksgiving meal. I haven’t had mine yet.”
Around 5 p.m. EST they left.
The Daily Beast reports that this is the second time the pair left their viewers during the much hyped ‘Thanks-A-Thon.’ They disappeared for 7 hours Thursday morning without an explanation.
Lindell and company was suppose to use the 96-hour live stream event to discuss his Supreme Court complaint seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Though Lindell spent much of the week hyping the event by appearing on right-wing outlets like Steve Bannon’s podcast, it appears to be another flop so far. According to the Independent, only 24 people were tuned in to Lindell’s YouTube channel after midday on Thursday and even though it is not clear how many people were watching on his World-Wire website, at the time only 90 people were participating in a live chat.
