Former President Bill Clinton and 2016 Democratic party nominee Secretary Hillary Clinton cast their electoral college votes for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President elect Sen. Kamala Harris on Monday.

“I believe we should abolish the Electoral College and select our president by the winner of the popular vote, same as every other office,” Clinton said in a tweet after casting her vote. “But while it still exists, I was proud to cast my vote in New York for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”Â
Biden won New York in the November elections and with it, the state’s 29 electoral votes.
