There is a golden statue of Donald Trump at this year's CPAC.

If there was any doubt that the Republican Party worship at the feet of Donald Trump, then this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) should remove them all.

A video shared by a Bloomberg reporter showed workers at CPAC wheeling in a golden statue of Trump, complete with a red tie, stars-and-stripes shorts and red flip flops.

Onlookers stopped to take photos of the statue, with one woman saying, “Awesome,” and another person adding, “That is so cool.” A third person can then be heard in the video starting to chant, “four more years.”

Trump is expected to speak on Feb. 28th, the final day of the conference. He’s planning to address his second impeachment trial, in addition to his view on the future of the Republican Party and the conservative movement,” a source told Axios. Trump will also take aim at President Joe Biden, criticizing what he believes to be his administration’s “disastrous” amnesty and border policies.

There is also growing speculation that he will announce his 2024 run for president at the event.
