Angela Stanton King, the Republican candidate looking to flip the Georgia congressional seat long held by civil rights icon John Lewis this November, declared war after Herman Cain’s death on Thursday. Stanton King suspects foul play in the prominent Republican’s death.
“All the celebrities and Democrats catch COVID and magically heal. But Herman Cain is dead! I swear I hate it here. I was right there with him. We were perfectly fine!!! This is WAR!!!”
It is unclear who she is going to war with since Herman Cain was a 74-year-old stage IV colon cancer survivor. That increases his risk of being severely affected and dying from the coronavirus infection according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Cain chose to attend Donald Trump’s indoor rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 20, maskless despite public health officials repeated warnings to wear a mask.
She followed up her nonsensical tweet with another.
“Since COVID-19 disproportionately impacts Black people can someone explain to me how Herman Cain caught it around a bunch of white people. And why none of the Democrats at George Floyd’s funeral caught it with thousands of black ppl and a dead body that was Covid positive?”
She’s right, data shows that the coronavirus disproportionately affects people of color. But to date, there’s no data that shows that white people cannot spread the virus.
Oh quick reminder for Stanton-King since you were “right there with him,” you should get tested.
