Three people are dead and two others injured after a shooting in a gun store in Louisiana on Saturday.
Officers were dispatched to the Jefferson Gun Outlet in the 6700 block of Airline Drive around 2:30 p.m following reports of shooting at the property, Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office said in a statement.
One initial shooter fatally two people inside the store. The shooter was then engaged and shot outside the establishment by multiple other individuals, Sheriff Joseph Lopinto said.
Three people were pronounced dead at the scene including the suspect. Two were transported to a local hospital and are in stable condition.
