Elon Musk claimed Donald Trump’s name is listed in files related to the financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein which is why his administration has released the list.
“Time to drop the really big bomb,” Musk said in a post on X. “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
The “Epstein Files” is a conspiracy theory claiming that the government has a secret record of everyone who engaged in illicit behavior with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein who committed suicide in his jail cell.
Trump has promised to release the files when he took office, but so far they haven’t done so.
Musk’s attack came after Trump, threatened to end government contracts with his companies and said Musk left the White House’s Department of Government Efficiency because Turmp asked him to leave.
The feud between the two former allies as turned increasingly personal since Musk criticized Trump’s massive budget bill which adds $2.4 trillion to the debt.
