House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) referred to Donald Trump as “president cunt” in an apparent verbal slip at the family friendly National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual dinner in Washington, D.C Tuesday night.
Emmer kicked things off by yelling at the crowd.
“You get to hear from me. Then, you’re gonna get energy outta, Steve Scalise! And you’re gonna get some energy out of our speaker, Mike Johnson! But guess what! The show is Donald J. Trump. So get ready,” he said.
The verbal slip came later in the speech as he urged Republicans to rally behind Trump.
“President cunt– Trump is counting on us!” he declared.
