Top Kremlin official says Russia will kill Ukrainian "terrorists" for Kerch bridge explosion and says there will be more missile strikes.

The deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, Dmitri Medvedev, said Russia will kill Ukrainian “terrorists” responsible for the explosion on the Kerch Bridge that partially damaged the structure and vowed that Russia will launch more missiles toward Ukraine.

An explosion damaged Kerch Bridge, which links Russia to Crimea on Saturday. Russian investigators have said a truck explosion caused the bridge to partially collapse. But, Medvedev blames Ukraine for the collapse, even though Kyiv did not claim responsibility.

The explosion was “a terrorist act and sabotage committed by the criminal Kiev regime,” Medvedev said, according to Newsweek. “Russia can only respond to this crime by directly killing terrorists, as is the custom elsewhere in the world. This is what Russian citizens expect.”

On Monday, Russia launched several missiles at Ukraine overnight, targeting civilians and major cities. The Associated Press reported that at least eight people were killed and 24 were injured in one of the strikes in the capital city of Kyiv. 13 people were killed and more than 50 others were injured in missile strikes in the residential area of Zaporizhzhia.

Medvedev said more strikes are to follow in a post Telegram.

“The first episode has been played. There will be others,” he wrote. “The Ukrainian state in its current configuration with the Nazi political regime will pose a constant, direct and clear threat to Russia. Therefore, in addition to protecting our people and protecting the borders of the country, the goal of our future actions, in my opinion, should be the complete dismantling of the political regime of Ukraine.”

Putin and his allies have been defending his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine with a bizarre claim of ‘denazification.’ They claim Ukrainians need protection after been “subjected to bullying and genocide.”

Not only is Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Jewish and has said that members of his family were killed during World War II, there was no evidence of mass killings or ethnic purges taking place in Ukraine until Putin invaded the country and his army started doing just that.
