Trump admits that his health could prevent him from running in 2024.

In an exclusive interview with Real Clear Politics, Donald Trump admitted that health problems could prevent him from running for President in 2024.

Asked to give one reason that could prevent him from running for president again, Trump said:  “Well, one reason could be your health. You get a call from your doctor and that’s the end of that,” he said. “That stuff happens; you hope it doesn’t. I just had a medical, just had great result. You never know, there are many things can happen; politics is a crazy world. It is a big commitment of you, your children, your wife and your family.”

The former president said this time his slogan will be “Make America Great Again, Again.”

Trump has strong support among Republicans and has hinted that he would consider seeking the party nomination again for president in 2024. However, present and former members of his inner circle have express concerns about his health if he decides to run for president again at the age of 78.

On Sunday former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman said he may not even be healthy enough to run for president in 2024.

“I think going into 2024 I’m really more concerned that Donald Trump hasn’t come forward and talked about his health,” Manigault Newman said in an interview on Sunday. “I don’t know if he will even be healthy enough to run in 2024 and I think he needs to come clean to the American people about where he is on that before getting into a very stressful and strenuous race for the White House,” she added.

Earlier this year, Franklin Graham, an evangelical Christian leader and early supporter of Trump’s told Axios a potential 2024 presidential bid by Trump, who would be 78 in 2024, would “be a very tough thing to do.”
