Trump-backed GOP House candidate calls ex-Trump aide a 'true piece of sh*t' in leaked text messages.

A Trump-backed House candidate in South Carolina lashed out at the former president’s acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney after he said she was unfit to be a member of Congress.

Congressional candidate Katie Arrington blasted Mulvaney in a series of texts Monday morning obtained by The State.

“You really are a true piece of shit”, Arrington texted Mulvaney.

“Ha! You have no idea. What did I do now?” Mulvaney wrote back.

“You’re just not the person I thought you were,” she said, warning that she has texts of her own between the two of them from 2018 when they were working in the Trump administration.

“I won’t make those public and make you look like a jack ass,” Arrington said. “Because then you really would look like the piece of shit that you turning out to be.”

“Excellent. Godspeed and piece of shit in consecutive texts,” Mulvaney responded. “You need to realize that you might be unstable,” adding “Also: Punctuation,” with a wink emoji.

“Can’t stand two faced folks,” Arrington replied. “No wonder you were fired and as an Irish catholic sent to Northern Ireland. Funny how you never correct reports when they have your job title incorrect and remind them you were only acting.”

“And now we have religion,” Mulvaney responded. “Again: you may be unfit for office. Seriously. It may be time for some deep introspection.”

The texts reportedly came hours after Mulvaney, who represented South Carolina’s 5th District from 2011 to 2017, told NBC News that Arrington is “not the best candidate by any stretch of imagination.”

“And I guess it’s enough for Donald Trump that she’s not Nancy Mace,” he added.

Trump has soured on incumbent Rep. Nancy Mace after she criticized him. Trump endorsed Arrington in the GOP primary against Mace even though Arrington lost the seat to Democrat Joe Cunningham in 2018.
