Donald Trump is once bragging about passing a simple screening test meant to detect cognitive impairment such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
Speaking to reporters on board Air Force One Friday, Trump claimed he took a cognitive test at his yearly physical and passed.
“Overall I felt I was in very good shape. Good heart. A good soul. Very good soul,” Trump said. “I took — I wanted to be a little different than Biden. I took a cognitive test. I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right.”
Trump said the results of the physical would be released on Sunday.
Trump will celebrate his 79th birthday in June. He will be 82 at the end of his term, which would make him the oldest individual to serve as president.
During his first term, Trump frequently boasted about “acing” a cognitive test based on his ability to recall the words “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.”
