Trump claims courthouse workers were crying and telling him "I'm sorry" during arraignment.

Donald Trump claimed workers at the Manhattan courthouse were crying and telling him “I’m sorry” when they booked him last week during his arraignment.

“When I went to the courthouse, which is also a prison in a sense, they signed me in and I’ll tell you people were crying – people that work there, professionally work there, that have no problems putting in murderers and they see everybody,” Trump told Fox News host Tucker Carlson in an interview. “It’s tough, tough place, and they were crying. They were actually crying. They said “I’m sorry.”‘

Trump was charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in an alleged $130,000 hush-money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election. The former president pleaded not guilty.
