Donald Trump on Sunday complained that he could not attend a PGA tournament at his golf course in Scotland due to his legal troubles.
“I have the Staysure Senior PGA Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland, on my great course, and I can’t go,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I have to stay around and fight off the Crazed Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, Marxists, and Fascists. I wouldn’t want to be in Europe and watch this COUNTRY DESTROYING Scum work their disgusting and illegal ‘magic’ on unsuspecting Republican ‘leaders’ who just don’t think it is appropriate to Fight Fire With Fire. BUT WE WILL WIN. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Trump has been indicted four times so far. The former president faces two federal indictments in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigations of his alleged mishandling of classified documents and his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
Trump was also indicted twice at the state level in New York and Georgia. In New York he was a indicted on charges related to an alleged hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.
In Georgia, Trump was indicted on charges alleging that he participated in a wide-ranging illegal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the state despite his loss to Biden.
