While Donald Trump refuses to concede the election and is now planning a last ditch effort with his allies on Capitol Hill to overturn the results of the election in Congress, behind the scenes, he’s already making plans to cash in on Biden’s inauguration.

Politico reports that the Trump International Hotel in D.C. has raised their rates for the inauguration. The hotel is now charging visitors $2,225 per night for January 19 and 20. A similar room for the rest of January cost somewhere around $400.
But, according to Politico, the bookings doesn’t appear to be rolling in so far.

Other hotels in the area have also hiked their prices for the inauguration. The Hay-Adams hotel, increase their price to $1,399 per evening up from $300. The ST. Regis which usually have rooms going for $399 increased their prices to at least $999.
Trump’s 2017 inauguration led to the D.C. attorney general suing his inaugural committee and the Trump Organization in January alleging they abused more than $1 million raised by the nonprofit by “grossly overpaying” for use of event space at the Trump hotel in Washington.
While he’s looking to cash in, its still not clear on whether or not he plans to attend Joe Biden’s inauguration.
