Barron Trump decline

Donald Trump got his youngest son Barron’s age wrong in an interview that aired on Thursday.

Trump misstated Barron’s age during an exclusive interview with Telemundo 51 of Miami when asked about his son being a delegate from Florida for the Republican National Convention.

“I think that’s great,” Trump responded. “I think it’s very interesting too. But he’s pretty young. I will say. He’s 17, but, if they can do that, I’m all for it. I think I’m all for it. And he probably would be, knowing him. He would probably be for it to.”

Barron Trump turned 18 in March.

Trump also referred to his son being a delegate as “very cute because he’s a very young guy and he’s graduating from high school this year”.

Trump was granted time off from his criminal hush money case in New York to attend the May 17 ceremony. He is facing 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to pay hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels to remain quiet about his extramarital affair.

Later in the interview Trump bragged that he is “ambidextrous” because he is able to do several things at once.

“I’m very ambidextrous, so to speak. I can do a lot of things at one time,” he said. “I run a business right now, but now I’m starting to get full back into the campaign mode.”
