Donald Trump has received $65,500 in taxpayer-funded presidential pension since he left the White House in January, according to Business Insider.

Former presidents are entitled to receive pensions after their terms under the Former Presidents Act, which Congress passed in 1958.

Throughout his presidency, Trump donated his salary to federal agencies. He donated his 2020 salary to the Department of Health and Human Services to help with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, according to Insider. It’s not clear whether he has kept the pension or donated it.
