Trump indicted by Manhattan grand jury.

CEOs say Trump was 'meandering' and 'doesn’t know what he’s talking about’ during meeting.

A Manhattan grand jury hearing evidence in the case involving Donald Trump’s hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, voted to indict the former president on Thursday.

The indictment comes as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) was investigating a $130,000 payment Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen made to Daniels shortly before the 2016 election on Trump’s behalf.

Though the charges are not yet known— because the indictment remains under seal—Bragg’s investigation of the former president was focused on falsifying business records.

“This is Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history,” Trump said in a statement. “The Democrats have lied, cheated and stolen in their obsession with trying to ‘Get Trump,’ but now they’ve done the unthinkable — indicting a completely innocent person in an act of blatant Election Interference.”

Trump is expected to be arraigned next week.
