Trump indicted in 2020 election probe in Georgia.

CEOs say Trump was 'meandering' and 'doesn’t know what he’s talking about’ during meeting.

A Georgia Grand jury indicted former President Donald Trump Monday evening for attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the state.

The 41-count indictment accuse Trump and 18 other defendants of unlawfully conspiring and endeavoring to “conduct and participate in a criminal enterprise” after Trump lost the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

The charges include False Statements and Solicitation of State Legislatures, high-ranking state officials, the creation and distribution of false electoral college documents, the harassment of election workers, unlawful breach of election equipment, and acts of obstruction.

The indictment brings Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) charges against Trump and other involved in the plot to overturn the results of the election in the state.

Prosecutors alleged that the enterprise “engaged in various related criminal activities including, but not limited to, false statements and writings, impersonating a public officer, forgery, filing false documents, influencing witnesses, computer theft, computer trespass, computer invasion of privacy, conspiracy to defraud the state, acts involving theft, and perjury.”

The charges come after a two-year investigation by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis into Trump’s efforts to pressure state officials to overturn the results despite losing the election.

This is the fourth time Trump has been indicted this year.
