Donald Trump has abandoned his blog after one month, a spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday.
According to CNBC, Trump’s “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” blog, which he used as an alternative to Twitter has been shut down for good and was scrubbed from his website after one month.
The site was launched in early May and had reportedly been recording very poor traffic, The Daily Beast reports.
Senior aide Jason Miller told CNBC, the site “will not be returning.”
“It was just auxiliary to the broader efforts we have and are working on,” Miller added, “Hoping to have more information on the broader efforts soon, but I do not have a precise awareness of timing.”
Trump was banned from mainstream social media platforms in the wake of the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
