Donald Trump’s attorney Joe Tacopina said on Sunday that the former president’s posts on his Truth Social media app attacking Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is “ill-advised”.
Bragg’s office is investigating Trump for the alleged $130,000 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.
Asked about the post during an appearance on “Meet the Press” Sunday, Tacopina said, “I think that was an ill-advised post that one of his social media people put up, and he quickly took down when he realized the rhetoric and the photo that was attached to it.”
Trump has been attacking Bragg since he falsely claimed on Truth Social last weekend that he was getting arrested last Tuesday.
The former president has called Bragg an “animal” and posted an article with a photo of himself holding a baseball bat next to a photo of Bragg with his hands up. He later deleted the post.
