Trump lawyers tried to hide his testimony about ‘very dangerous’ fruits, report says.

Trump feared protesters would throw 'dangerous' fruits like tomatoes, pineapples and bananas at him: "You can get killed with those things"

Attorneys for Donald Trump tried to get a court filing with his testimony voicing his concerns about getting killed by “very dangerous” fruits be taken down after it was made public last week, according to the Daily Beast.

While under oath for a lawsuit in New York that alleges members of his security detail assaulted protesters outside Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign, Trump warned about “ very dangerous” fruits like tomatoes, pineapples, and bananas saying “you can get killed with those things.”

After the Daily Beast published their report last week, Trump’s legal team sent several emails to the plaintiff’s lawyer, Benjamin Dictor, pressuring him to take down his own filing.

“That exhibit is unnecessary, prejudicial and needs to be pulled ASAP,” Trump defense attorney Jeffrey Goldman wrote in an email to Dictor.

“ASAP Ben. That is wholly inappropriate and prejudicial,” another Trump lawyer, Alina Habba said.

Goldman later told Dictor that he “did not need the deposition” to make his point, that Trump ordered his security guards to attack protesters outside Trump tower. “You have wrongly released trial testimony,” he said.

The Daily Beast reports that Dictor independently found out that Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen was at Trump Tower and recalled then-candidate Trump telling his security to “get rid” of the protesters. Dictor argued it was necessary to provide Trump’s full testimony as proof that it would be contradicted by Cohen.

“Remedy is to remove the exhibit now,” Goldman responded.

During the deposition, Trump was asked if he had expected his security guards to personally “knock the crap out of” anybody they see with a tomato.

“Well, a tomato, a pineapple, a lot of other things they throw,” he answered. “Yeah, if the security saw that, I would say you have to — and it’s not just me, it’s other people in the audience  get badly hurt. Yeah, I think that they have to be aggressive in stopping that from happening. Because if that happens you can be killed if that happens.”

Asked if “getting aggressive” meant “the use of physical force,” Trump agreed.

“To stop somebody from throwing pineapples, tomatoes, bananas, stuff like that, yeah, it’s dangerous stuff,” he said.
