Donald Trump and his campaign are trying to define Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) as someone who is far too extreme to serve as vice-president, but apparently that was not the case when Trump appointed him to serve in his administration.
After weeks of speculation, presumptive Democratic nominee Vice-President Kamala Harris announced on Tuesday that she has selected Walz as her running mate in the presidential election.
Trump wasted no time in attacking Walz, labeling him a ‘dangerous liberal’ who will “UNLEASH HELL ON EARTH” with his far left policies.
However, the rush to label Walz as a extremist seems to have hit a roadblock considering that Trump selected him to serve on his administration’s bipartisan Council of Governors for two years in 2019, according to a press release.
The Council consists of ten governors—five from each party—appointed to two-year terms by the President.
This now begs the question: If Tim Walz is such a radical extremist, why did Trump appoint him to serve in his administration?
