Trump ordered to pay $355 million in New York fraud case.

Judge Arthur Engoron has ordered Donald Trump and his companies to pay nearly $355 million in penalties in his civil fraud case in New York.

Engoron already found Trump, the Trump Organization and several top executives, including his adult sons, liable for fraud before the trial began.

The trial was to determine damages which was left up to Engoron since there was no jury.

Both Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump were ordered to pay more than $4 million each. Former Trump organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg was ordered to pay $1 million.

In addition to the fines, Engoron’s ruling also barred Trump from participating in New York business for three years and he cannot apply for loans from any financial institution registered in New York for three years. Don Jr and Eric were barred from serving as officers or directors of any New York corporation or other legal entity for two years.

Additionally, Weisselberg and former controller Jeffery McConney were barred from serving “in the financial control function” of any New York corporation or business entity for the rest of their life. Weisselberg was also banned from New York business for three years.

Trump’s lawyers say they will appeal the ruling.
