Trump pleads not guilty to classified documents charges.

CEOs say Trump was 'meandering' and 'doesn’t know what he’s talking about’ during meeting.

Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to 37 counts related to his alleged mishandling of classified documents.

An indictment unsealed last week by special counsel Jack Smith alleged Trump violated the Espionage Act and obstructed justice in taking classified records and trying to block investigators’ efforts to recover them.

The documents include “information regarding defense and weapons capabilities of both the United States and foreign counties; United States nuclear programs; potential vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies to military attack; and plans for possible retaliation in response to foreign attack,” the indictment said.

Trump’s co-defendant, Walt Nauta, was also arrested, fingerprinted and processed.
