Donald Trump went on a bizarre rant about ways to die at his rally in Iowa on Sunday.
In a speech at his Ottumwa,Iowa rally, Trump accused the Biden administration of trying to force everyone to ” buy electric vehicles.”
“They want to go all-electric… The problem is their batteries are so heavy that the boats can’t carry them. They would sink,” Trump said.
The former president then went off on an tangent, telling his supporters that he’d much rather be electrocuted than eaten by a shark if he was in a shipwreck caused by an electric boat engine.
“But if I’m sitting down and that boat’s going down and I’m on top of the battery and the water starts swelling in, I’m getting concerned. Then I look 10 yards to my left and I see a shark over there,” he said. “So I have a choice of electrocution or shark. You know what I’m going to take? Electrocution. I will take electrocution every single time.”
