Donald Trump called his campaign staff “stupid” for displaying what he claims to be the wrong photo at a rally over the weekend.
Trump slammed his team at a Sunday rally in Juneau, Wisconsin, while bragging about the size of crowd at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania Saturday night.
Trump’s Butler rally was held at the site of the first failed assassination attempt against him in July. An audience member, ex-firefighter Corey Comperatore, 50, was killed and two other attendees were critically injured.
The Republican presidential nominee indicated to his supporters at his rally in Juneau that he wanted to show them photos of the crowd at Butler rally which he insisted was comprised of 100,000 people.
“We had over 100,000 people show up in beautiful little Butler,” Trump said.
“And we have something to show you the kind of crowd we had last night, it was really something special, so let’s put it up if we can,” he said.
A video was then played showing the crowd at the Butler rally, but it appeared that the clip was not to Trump’s liking.
“That’s the wrong picture,” he complained. “That was unbelievable, they used the wrong picture, it was the same picture but they had the two side things. They’re so stupid!”
Despite Trump’s claim that 100,000 people were in attendance at his rally in Butler, local reporter Jennifer Borrasso, said that the U.S. Secret Service estimated that the actual number was about 21,000.
