Trump suggests his Justice Department could indict Obama for murder if he's re-elected.

It is no secret that Donald Trump and his allies are planning to weaponize the Justice Department against his political opponents if he is re-elected, and on Saturday he appears to endorse the bizarre idea of indicting former President Barack Obama for murder.

On his Truth Social app, Trump reposted a comment from conservative attorney Mike Davis, who said Trump could indict Obama if he’s re-elected because courts have dismissed Trump’s presidential immunity arguments.

“So Democrat judges in DC suddenly pretend President Trump doesn’t enjoy presidential immunity, like all of his predecessors for 250 years?,” Davis’ post read. “Does that mean the Trump 47 Justice Department can indict President Obama for his extrajudicial murder of a 16-year-old American citizen?”

Davis’ post is referring to Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, the 16-year-old son of US-born terrorist leader Anwar al-Awlaki who was killed by a drone strike in Yemen on October 14, 2011.

But, a US military raid authorized by Trump killed al-Awlaki’s 8-year-old daughter in 2017, which means Trump would face the same punishment as Obama under Davis’ theory, as noted by Mediaite.
