Donald Trump teased a comeback in 2024 on Saturday, telling a crowd at his rally in Robstown,Texas that he will “probably” run again.
“In order to make our country successful, safe and glorious again, I will probably have to do it again,” Trump said. “But first we have to win a historic victory for the Republican Party this November.”
Trump has teased a possible run for the White House since his one term ended in Jan. 2021, but has stopped short of formally announcing his candidacy. This latest tease comes one day after he was subpoenaed by the Jan. 6 committee for documents and testimony about his role in the insurrection.
Trump was impeached for inciting an insurrection after his supporters stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 to stop the certification of President Joe Biden’s victory.
