Donald Trump told Americans worried about their 401(k)s to don’t be “weak” and “stupid” as markers plunged due to tariffs he placed on imports from the US biggest trading partners.
“The United States has a chance to do something that should have been done DECADES AGO,” the president said in a Truth Social post Monda. “Don’t be Weak! Don’t be Stupid!”
“Don’t be a PANICAN (A new party based on Weak and Stupid people!),” he continued. “Be Strong, Courageous, and Patient, and GREATNESS will be the result!”
Trump’s global tariffs announced last week has triggered recession fears and a market sell off. The Dow was down 1,300 points on Monday which marks the third straight day of declines.
