Trump used Secret Service agent's phone to call Melania after Stormy Daniels story broke.

Donald Trump reportedly used a Secret Service agent’s phone to call his wife, then-first lady Melania Trump, after the story about his affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels broke in 2018.

According to CNN, Trump was not too keen on having anyone listen to his phone calls, to avoid this he would grab the phone of anyone who is nearby, including Secret Service agents.

Trump was on the golf course when the news of his affair with Daniels broke in 2018. He tried calling Melania but she did not pick up, sources told CNN.

Trump then used a Secret Service agent’s phone to try to reach Melania instead.

Melania answered the call coming from the agent’s phone, according to the report. However, the agent was not pleased his phone had been used this way.

The Wall Street Journal broke the story in January 2018 about Trump’s affair with Daniels in 2006, a year after he married Melania and shortly after she gave birth to their son.

Trump reportedly arranged a $130,000 hush-money payment to stop Daniels from going public with her story before the 2016 presidential election.
