Trump vows to "fight like hell" for Marjorie Taylor Greene if she runs for the Senate.

At his rally in Waco, Texas on Saturday, former President Donald Trump said he would “fight like hell” for controversial congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) if she runs for U.S. Senate.

“Republicans cannot take it any longer. They have to get tougher, but they cannot take it,” Trump said. “These Washington Republicans like Mitch McConnell  who’s the absolute worst. They’ve got to get tougher; they’ve got to get like Marjorie Taylor Greene.”

“Would you like to run for the Senate? I will fight like hell for you,” Trump said of Greene.

If Greene runs for the Senate she will face incumbent Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff in 2024. But, as previous election cycles have shown, a Trump backed candidate can easily win the GOP primary but they always come up short in the general election against their Democratic rivals in Georgia.

However, Greene has her sights set on higher office in 2024. According to NBC News, the congresswoman is angling to be Trump’s running mate.
