Donald Trump was trolled on Super Bowl Sunday in Tampa, Florida with a sky banner that reads “Trump Weak Afraid To Testify”.
The same individuals who trolled the ex-president at his Mar-a-Lago resort last month with sky banners that read “TRUMP WORST PRESIDENT EVER” and “TRUMP YOU PATHETIC LOSER GO BACK TO MOSCOW,” were also responsible for the banner on Sunday.
Last week, House impeachment managers sent a letter to Donald Trump asking him to testify in the Senate trial, under oath.
“Two days ago, you filed an answer in which you denied many factual allegations set forth in the article of impeachment. You have thus attempted to put critical facts at issue notwithstanding the clear and overwhelming evidence of your constitutional offense,” lead impeahment manager Rep. Jamie Raskin wrote.
“In light of your disputing these factual allegations, I write to invite you to provide testimony under oath, either before or during the Senate impeachment trial, concerning your conduct on January 6, 2021,” Raskin added.
Trump’s impeachment attorneys dismissed the House managers‘ letter as a “publicity stunt” and said it confirms that they “cannot prove your allegations” against Trump.
Trump’s historic second impeachment trial will begin on Feb. 8.
