The Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey has been flagged for more than a dozen health violations making it the unhealthiest place to dine in Somerset County.
According to Forbes, Trump’s New Jersey golf clubs received a 32 out of 100 health inspection score in May from the Somerset County Department of Health. The club was flagged for 18 violations, nine of them were critical and can pose serious health risks to people at the club.
It is the worst score recorded of the more than 100 retail food establishments in the county. The department gave Trump’s club a “conditionally satisfactory” C grade.
Inspectors found that the club was noncompliant with all three requirements in the “food protected from contamination” category, with violations including expired milk, raw meat stored improperly and dishwasher that did not reach the required temperature.
The minimum temperature required for a commercial dishwasher’s final rinse under Somerset County guidelines is 180 degree. The dishwasher in the kitchen at Trump’s golf club can only reach a maximum temperature of 170 degrees.
Handwashing stations were also not up to par and inspectors found four separate violations there including sinks without soap or paper towels, one lacking a required sign and another used to store a sanitizer bucket.
