Tucker Carlson says he was “physical mauled” by “a demon” in his sleep.

Fired Fox News host Tucker Carlson said he spent the past year and a half reading the Bible because he survived an attempt on his life— by a demon.

Carlson recounted the bizarre story about his experience with a demon in a new documentary on Thursday.

Asked if he thought “the presence of evil is kickstarting people to wonder about the good?” Carlson answered “That’s what happened to me.”

According to the former Fox News host, he was attacked “while I was asleep with my wife and four dogs in the bed” and was “mauled — physically mauled.”

Asked if the attack was by a “demon,” Carlson said, “Yeah, by a demon or by something unseen that left claw marks on my sides.”

“I was totally confused, I woke up, and I couldn’t breathe, and I thought I was going to suffocate,” Carlson said.

He continued: “And I walked around outside and then I walked in and my wife and dogs had not woken up. And they’re very light sleepers. And then I had these terrible pains on my rib cage and on my shoulder, and I was just in my boxer shorts and I went and flipped on the light in the bathroom, and I had four claw marks on either side underneath my arms and on my left shoulder. And they’re bleeding.”

Carlson said he consulted his assistant, an evangelical Christian, because he had “never heard of anything like that happening before,” and she told him “That happen. people are attacked in their bed by demons.”

Carlson recalled that his response to her was: “‘What?! What are you even talking about?’”

The experience, Carlson said, was what led him to pick up the Bible to “read it and see what’s in there myself.”

“I spent a year and a half reading, and then I started rereading it, and it was a, just a transformative experience for me,” Carlson said.

“But I’m not, you know, holding myself out as someone from whom you could get theological advice, because I don’t know, I don’t understand any of it. But yeah, that happened.”
