Twitter suspended the official account for Donald Trump’s re-election campaign on Thursday because it violated the platform’s “rules against posting private information.”
A staffer for the Trump campaign shared a screenshot of the message from Twitter notifying them that the account has been locked after posting a tweet accusing Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden of being a “liar” and “ripping off our country for years.”
Trump reacted to the news in real time live on air during an interview with FOX business.
It’s going to all end up in a big lawsuit,” Trump said. “And there are things that can happen that are very severe that I’d rather not see happen. But it’s probably going to have to.”
