The United States set a a new record for coronavirus infection in a single day on Friday.
According to data from Johns Hopkins University, the country record 187,833 new cases and over 2000 deaths.

Since January, the country has recorded 11,963,509 case and 254,897 deaths. The US is expected to surpass another grim milestone of twelve million case by the end of the weekend.
