The United States surpassed 300,000 COVID deaths on Monday, according to data from John’s Hopkins University.
It took less than three months for the U.S. to record another 100,000 deaths.
In addition to reaching this grim new milestone, the country is also recording on average more than 2,400 COVID deaths per day.

But, there is hope, on Monday, the country began its Pfizer vaccine rollout with UPS and FedEx delivering 2.9 million doses to about 150 locations in all 50 states. Another 450 sites will receive doses of the Pfizer vaccine between Tuesday and Wednesday.
