A brave Ukrainian woman was seen on video confronting an armed Russian soldier and offering him sunflower seeds, so they grow when he dies.
The woman confronted the Russian soldier in the port city of Henichesk, in the Kherson region, and accused him of being an invader.
“Who are you?,” the woman asked the soldier.
“We have exercises here. Please go this way,” the soldier responded.
After asking if they are Russians, she said: “So what the f*** are you doing here?”
As the solider tried to de-escalate the situation, the unidentified woman said: “You’re occupants, you’re fascists! What the f*** are you doing on our land with all these guns?. Take these seeds and put them in your pockets, so at least sunflowers will grow when you all lie down here.”
The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine.
The video was shared online by a Ukrainian news website and has been viewed over four million times.
Putin launched an all-out assault on Ukraine with missiles, warplanes and tanks on Thursday. 137 Ukrainians including 10 military officers were killed on the first day of the attack and another 316 people had been injured.
